Electric power expressed as watts in d-c circuits is the product of the voltage and current (voltage times current). In a-c circuits the calculation is complicated by the need to take into account the shape of the voltage and current waveforms and their relative phase angle.

Abstract: This paper deals with a power factor correction circuit based on the isolated boost converter. An additional circuit provides zero-voltage-transition (ZVT) switching while maintaining constant frequency operation. 

Kepco Series RA 19-(X)B rack adapters are specifically designed for the installation of Kepco 3U HSF Series 50W to 350W Power Supplies into 19-inch EIA standard equipment racks; RA 19-(X)B models (only) are recognized by UL and CSA. 

These models adapt Kepco linear (PAT and PTR) and ferroresonant (PRM) modules power supplies to the standard 19" wide equipment rack or cabinet. Panel mounting holes are pre-drilled (standard E.I.A. pattern).
